I am a musician, filmmaker and curator who is passionate about telling positive stories that explore African history. My current project, Ode to the Ancestors, is a music, documentary and international exhibition that celebrates the black contribution to archaeology and conservation in Kenya.I also work part-time with a talented group of young creatives called Voices in Partnership at Waltham Forest Youth and Family Resilience Service.In addition to these roles, I volunteer as a committee member and mentor with Kenya Society, an organisation that connects Kenyans in the diaspora and has H.E William Ruto, the President of Kenya as its patron. I also lead on Diversity and Inclusion with Waltham Forest's Music Service's Management Board.
