Hey, this is Tin, which is my preferred name. Tin sounds sincere and vigorous. It is easier to pronounce than my first name Yue (/ˈjuːeɪ/). I’m a curious and quality-chasing programmer. Loves the book pragmatic programmer, which cultivated my fascination with methodology and engineering best practices. My ThoughtWorker years dyed me with agile (extreme programming) best practices. I help founded and hosted a monthly technologist conference - OpenParty in Beijing for years, which satisfied my passion for evangelizing. Being an individual contributor in my career, I almost evenly distributed my time between FE/BE projects. Being a generalist is not because of not liking the technical depth, but because I believe delivering value to the end customer requires true teamwork. I'm willing to tackle anything that blocks our way. I love Chautauqua (reflection) like what is in Zen and Motorcycle Maintenance. It's hard to define the quality literally, but we all know it. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and tasting beers.
