I have worked in and around higher education for my entire career in just about every angle of the market - on a campus, as a consultant for two different organizations, as a vendor representing educational speakers, and as the founder and director of a non-profit serving colleges and universities. That combination of experience gives me a unique perspective on the field of higher education that few others have. I am currently a professional speaker with CAMPUSPEAK, educating students about hazing. Because of a personal experience with cancer, I also have an interest in advocacy and support of cancer survivors - primarily single people who are dealing with cancer. I am writing a blog on that subject (which is linked on this page) and my first book Being Single, With Cancer: A Solo Survivor's Guide to Life, Love, Health & Happiness was released in August 2014.
