I work directly with clients, stakeholders, other designers, and developers cross-functionally to design and deliver compelling solutions for complex user experience challenges. Specific projects include:- An iOS and Android-based healthcare management app for a major health insurance provider;- A web-based asset and equipment lease management platform for a global IT enterprise company;- A web-based supply and logistics portal for a US-based electric adventure vehicle company.

Maintained thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, delivered prompt service in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, as well as smaller-style private events.

Regularly opened the restaurant as the manager on duty, ensuring an accurate safe count, conducting restaurant-preparedness walkthroughs, issuing appropriate cuts and/or call-ins, maintaining accurate item availability through daily Micros POS processes, and assisting all front-of- house roles as needed. Additionally, designed a new daily floorplan, premeal templates, and company value posters.As a server, maintained thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, and delivered prompt service in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant to ensure company goal of “return-of-guest.”

Worked directly with the CEO, Product Manager, and Lead UX/UI Developer to help develop the user experience and interface of the company’s signature product and brand identity;- Provided high-fidelity prototypes of several generations of the Darwin Sync and Darwin Speech platforms, demonstrating:- A hands-free voice assistant for live transcription, notations, and data-reference while at lab benches;- A microtiter well plate data visualizations;- A web-based file and document repository;- Led the design, implementation, and documentation of the company’s first cohesive logo re-design and brand identity;- Applied design learnings to create presentations and signage to be used at several conferences and presentations;- Attained strong working knowledge of Github, agile methodology, and front-end development languages HTML and CSS;- Presented work strategies and insights at Brown University’s Better World by Design 2017 Conference as a guest speaker.

Ensured prompt and correct delivery of food as food expo, regularly ran food, and drink to tables and bar patrons, ensured restaurant cleanliness and organization, assisted the bartender behind the bar as needed, worked with servers to ensure tables were cleared between courses and between parties. Also worked with restaurant owners to design a 10” x 10” advertisement for the New Haven Register, the Fall 2013 “Food” “Drink” and “Bar” Menus, the Summer 2014 and Fall 2014 “Food” and “Drink” Menus, as well as tabletop advertisements for updated Sunday brunch and late night promotional offerings.

Ensured restaurant cleanliness and organization, assisted the bartender behind the bar as needed, worked with servers to ensure tables were cleared between courses and between parties. Entertained guests while making table-side guacamole and salsas.
