I spent 6 years in the Royal Navy working in communications, I have worked at the West Midlands police for 21 years carrying out a number of roles including dog handling and investigations and spent a long time in training fellow police officers in self defence, unarmed defence tactics, use of force and Taser.since leaving the police I have worked as a trainer in the security industry, teaching First Aid, physical intervention and conflict management on a freelance basis.I have also provided first aid courses outside the security world to school staff and personnel who work in industry.
