Governance Manager
CurrentResponsibility for the operation of complex governance within AHDB; ensuring effective running in line with agreed policies, procedures and ways of working.Development and delivery of an appropriate governance framework to enable the Board, delegated committees and Senior Leadership Team can discharge their responsibilities effectively and efficiently in line with statutory, regulatory and public sector requirements and with probity. Oversight and management of administrative systems for governance as well as the succession planning, recruitment, induction and appraisal of the Board and its delegated committees. Responsibility for ensuring corporate decision-making is as transparent as appropriate within the governance structure of AHDB. Oversight and management of risk management for the organisation ensuring that an effective system for corporate risk management is embedded throughout.
