Manage the day to day operations of Horizon Air including all Crew Scheduling, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Weight and Balance concerns. I am primarily tasked with taking the information from each group and making decisions that help maintain a safe and on time operation. We currently have a fleet of over 50 aircraft with 45 destinations. Decisions must be made and carried out in a fast paced central operations control center with safety and the commitment to our customers as guiding principals.

Monitor the daily routings of the entire Alaska fleet of 200 aircraft to ensure safety and compliance while maintaining an on time airline. Primarily we function as liaison between customer operations needs and that of the maintenance team. We value safety and compliance of our maintenance program above all other concerns but also assist in keeping the airline on-time.

Portland, Oregon Area

Responsibilities include monitoring the time sensitive maintenance program in accordance with our policies approved by the FAA. We ensure all work is scheduled and completed within the window of compliance and that all aircraft are routed to successfully keep them as safe and compliant as possible so the operation can have reliable aircraft. Working in the systems operation control environment helps us communicate with the relevant parties that all help run the airline, we can share and receive information that helps us better serve the airline.

Supervisor for the entire NE division of Aircraft Maintenance's Production Support branch, consisting of over 25 direct reports and 500 mechanics. Some duties included Aircraft Maintenance Planning for the NE division, which entails all maintenance checks and cards assigned to aircraft as well as arranging all parts and tooling movement for maintenance as well. Building manning models and track manpower usage for Aircraft Maintenance. Was also the Supervisor in charge of the Administration department of Production Support including all employee scheduling including bid schedules, vacation schedules, training schedules, and overtime distribution. Building and conducting six month bids for Aircraft Maintenance and Production Support. Setting up relief schedules for Aircraft Maintenance as well as Production Support as well. Manage all Overtime solicitation and tracking of overtime hours in accordance with the union contract of Aircraft Maintenance. Worked with various departments within American Airlines and with other airlines on the Joint Leadership Team to develop new SOP’s at JFK and LGA.
