Working in conjunction with the MOD as a mental health Professional

Internal rotation of shifts working in an independent mental health facility for rehab of chronic cases of long term mental health problems ranging from paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar disorders to personality disorders and neurotic elements to the individual. I am responsible for care planning and managers meeting and hearings as well as reviewing sectioning of the individual patients.

Writing assessment reports for people with long term mental health conditions to satisfy the DWP regulations for personal independent payments.

Assessing patients for active symptoms of illness and advising appropriately as to the final destination that they should be going to in dealing with the symptoms proactively. Am due to be made redundant in March 2014 so am looking for a new challenge.

Working on a progressive unit to promote independence and ability to make decisions of those who have had both a forensic history and a mental health background in secure units.
