After completing my role as the President Director of more than 18 years, I took up the role of Commissioner at Rheem to oversee the hand over to the new management to provide guidance, advice and assistance.

Some key achievements in this role include:• Establishing Rheem as the first integrated producer of drums by spearheading the expansion into plastic drum and Jerry can manufacturing industry.• Increasing productivity, quality, and sales, as well as decreasing scrap wastage in manufacturing process which led to successful revamp and rejuvenation of business.

I also remodelled products to be focused on satisfying the needs of clients. In the role I formulated effective operating plans which resulted in the diminishment of spoilage levels and maximization of outputs. I also chaired the expansion into domestic and export markets by introducing successful marketing and sales strategies.Some key achievements in this role include:• Negotiating major deal for investors to purchase the organisation from Australian owners which resulted in the establishment of local market in Indonesia.• Spearheading the incorporation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs.• Decreasing line downtimes by 45% with the successful implementation of a preventative maintenance program.• Amplifying productivity by 60% by improving focus on quality, reducing spoilage, and slashing downtimes which ensured optimal efficiency of production process.• Improving sales from 20mt to 250mt within three years by identifying opportunities within local underdeveloped markets and executing a strategy focused on domestic sales.• Expanding capacity from 450mt/mth to 800mt/mth to support growing sales base.

In this role I supervised the manufacturing operations and assured top quality production of marine, heavy duty, packaging, coil, and powder coatings.
