All Group planning processes now operate within its ecosystem and it is also utilised across all levels of the organisation by Finance, Operations and Commercial teams as the key local reporting tool for monthly Actuals reporting and analysis (c.450 users).• Key leader in the team that has completed 4 full refinancing and 3 refinancing amendment processes over 7 years. This has included liaising with all advisors, preparation of all diligence and presentation materials and co-ordination and completion of all buy side, sell side and investor Q&A. • Key transactions have included the sale of Element from 3i Group to Bridgepoint in 2016, the $1bn take-private purchase of Exova in 2017 and most recently a minority interest investment and $0.5bn refinancing transaction in 2018. We have also completed the integration of 23 bolt-on acquisitions since 2012, including the integration of all finance people, processes and systems.

This involved regular participation in review meetings with the CEO, CFO and divisional executive teams.• Communicated regularly with individuals across the group including regional operational, finance, tax, treasury and legal teams, through to divisional level and up to executive and Board level.• Took full ownership and accountability for the preparation of the Group monthly management accounts including the consolidation of over 200 entities reporting in multiple currencies.• Supported the delivery of other ad hoc financial reports for various internal and external stakeholders, including assistance with external strategic reviews, preparation of investor presentations and financial analysis required for potential acquisition and disposals.• Managed and led the development of one direct report and worked as part of an 8 person Group Finance team with responsibility for assisting with the development of more junior staff.• In order to support the strategic plans of the business, twice led the process to successfully restructure the divisional reporting of the Group. This included completing a push down over £18m of overhead costs out of the centre and into the businesses where they belonged to improve the accountability and control of the overall Group cost base. • Took the lead finance role working with the Group Systems manager to successfully implement a new Group financial reporting system (HFM). Key to this success was ensuring effective controls and improved reporting processes were implemented. The direct result was the Group monthly reporting cycle reducing from 15 to 10 working days.• Responsible for preparing the senior management bonus remuneration calculations and payments. Worked with HR to implement improved controls and efficiency of the process.
