When I was a kid, my father had tried multiple business ventures in order to give us a better life and to put food on the table. He would often bring me to work and teach me the ropes, looking back on now, I’m really grateful for him because he taught me to always live within my means and how important it is to have a side hustle. Due to my fathers teachings, I developed aspirations to have my own business one day.As a 19 year old, I joined the United States Marine Corps. It was one of the most challenging times in my life but also a very humbling experience. I learned how to be comfortable with the uncomfortable and to prioritize “we” over “I”. I realized that often my teammates' success is my success and that his failures are my failures as well. But most importantly, I learned that I have the ability to adapt and overcome.
