I needed a new challenge in my life and following on from enjoying and being successful in the area of teaching on-site techniques, I decided that the way forward, was to start up in business as an instructor within the Utilities Industry and provide specialised training in number of on-site techniques. IB&A stands for Ian Binks & Associates I am now part of a network of companies that work together to provide numerous training courses and other services to the Utilities Industry. I have the capability to train, assess and provide certification to personnel, in polyethylene (PE) welding techniques. Some of the courses available are: PE Welding to mains commissioning. Pressure Test Analysis to EUSR Shea passports. I have been involved in the UK Water Industry for over 30 years, having worked across most aspects of the industry. Specialising in key areas such as site auditing, failure analysis, materials selection, design, compatibility, performance and report writing. I also have experience within all areas of Power, Gas and Telecommunication. Highly, experienced In-house and on-site service provider, with good communication skills and ability to speak to people at all levels.
