I’ve had the privilege of working for Bunge since 2015, after graduating from undergrad at the University of Arkansas, and enrolling in their trainee program. My tenure at Bunge has given me wide ranging experience into physical and financial commodity markets that feed my curiosity.Working at a river terminal for 2 harvest seasons taught me the demanding challenges physical assets and their managers must face on a day to day basis while maintaining a safe environment. My time spent managing our financial risk management team in North America gave me the opportunity to learn the entire global agriculture value chain from farmer to consumer and how price movements impact all. My work helped Bunge win supplier of the year award for excellence in cost savings through financial risk management. Currently I have the privilege and responsibility of hedging / trading the canola crush spread as part of our oilseed risk management team. I have deeply enjoyed the personal and professional development and international experience that Bunge has offered me. The opportunity to have a tangible impact for my colleagues, customers, and community fulfills my drive to push for excellence.
