Reporting directly to the UK MD, I was initially tasked with creating a central team to effectively manage and successfully deliver major projects and large customer implementations in accordance with business and budgetary requirements. My team and I have delivered significant projects since creation, managing projects in line with corporate standards whilst ensuring that the expectation of the customer and internal division are achieved.

Reporting to the divisional Vice President, I had direct responsibility for all operational related projects within DHL Freight UK, also providing business support to the network of 14 branches within the UK.

The role involved operational responsibility for the day to day running of the DHL ECO transport business, reporting into the divisional Vice President. To manage and support 10 branch management teams, ensuring the customer contract is developed in line with the customers specific business requirements. To assist in ensuring that the ECO offering meets/exceeds service, cost, profit, quality, security, health and safety and people standards, and achieve targeted KPI measures.

The role involved working across both Fleet & ECO business unit with management of all levels researching, analysing, comparing, trending, interpreting and reporting on multiple facets of the business as requested by the divisional Vice President / Fleet Director.
