I am a graduating senior in the Outdoor Product Design and Development program at Utah State University. I am also an experienced bike mechanic and ski technician.I have been creating as long as I can remember. My childhood lego sets were always being torn down and rebuilt as something completely new. In the summers, my friends and I would spend hours refining small jumps and features for our mountain bikes in our backyards. . Today, I express my own personal creativity and style through the design process: I am driven and excited about the process of taking a simple idea or problem, and developing an innovative solution. Throughout my time in college, I have worked in bike and ski shops. I have about five years of experience working in a shop setting, which has taught me a great deal about problem solving, tasking management, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication. I revel in the details of repairing and refining bikes and skis, both for myself and others. Properly designed and maintained gear only enhances one’s experience on the trails and in the mountains.My goal is combine my passion for the outdoors and design to solve problems and drive innovations in the field of outdoor products.
