Recruiting Group’s Liaison Officer for Army Reserve in Suffolk involving working with both military and civilian staff with different experiences of the Army Reserve and local Army Reserve Units. Providing recruitment information and guidance to interested parties for all levels of recruitment to both the Army and Army Reserve.Planning recruitment activities for the Army and Army Reserve, targeted to small groups (study groups, 1 person presenting to 20+) to much larger groups (regional careers events, 40 people with equipment presenting to, 7k+).Conducting suitability interviews for potential candidates for soldiers who are considering a career in the Army or Army Reserve and giving guidance on subsequent nurturing activities for candidates who require it.Planning and delivering recruitment training to individuals at all levels working with the Army Reserve.Providing IT support as a MOSS 2007, Team Site Administrator for 19 different teams and providing Information Management advice to the region’s senior management.

Team leader of a small staff supporting the training of a Territorial Army unit in Swindon. Lead a team of Territorial Army soldiers as the Force Movement Warrant Officer that deploy to Afghanistan, and the Middle East covering Movement Control support for 6 months.Training and event planner, coordinating local and national training and recruiting events.Mentoring all TA members of staff in professional development. Recruiting and interviewing new members of a voluntary origination at events as well as walk-ins within.Give guidance to the Recruit Mentoring Team and ensure recruits are booked onto the required Trained Soldier Courses in good time. Ensuring best practice is maintained within the Data Protection Act and Recruiting Group Instructions.Conduct SHEF inspections and training, giving guidance where necessary.Responsible for the commissioning, editing and publication of written commutation for the Squadron.Designing, construction and lead maintainer of secure web sites (Internet (ArmyNet and Sharepoint) and Intranet (MOSS)).Trained and lead and reported on a 25 manned team for covering passenger and material movement.As the Force Movements Warrant Officer controlled all passenger and material movement on British aircraft in and out of the Middle East for a 6 months period.

Team leader of a changing team size giving Movement Control Support to different sized formations in, the UK, Germany and worldwide while based in England and Europe. Headed up technical and basic skills training for up to 400 people.Developed a new position within a sub-regional NATO command in Denmark, offering advice and guidance to senior colleagues and management. Controlled the planning for the deployment and recovery the staff of 2 sub-regional commands to Kosovo.Controlled the passenger movement of all British Military personnel from the UK to the Middle East for invasion of Iraq.Assisted in the planning and the executive control of that plan for the recovery of troops once initial war fighting had ended.Deployed, supported and recovered 400 troops to Sierra Leone with minimal staff.Developed and delivered an in house training package for junior colleagues.Lead a team identifying personnel requiring additional basic skills support within a 400 personnel size unit, then provision and loading of training from outside agencies.Headed up a team covering movement control support to the British Military in Northern Germany, covering air, road, rail and sea.Deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan on separate occasions, controlling the movement of passengers in and out of the relevant area of operation.Controlled the return of material from the Balkans for 4 months as the last units were withdrawing.Planned, sourced and controlled aircraft and cargo transport units to move the staff of 2 NATO sub-regional commands (Denmark and Norway) to and from Kosovo.
