Charity meeting the needs of education in Uganda and South Sudan

Led the insurance strategy and M&A teams focussing on both global and domestic clients. I advised many of the worlds top insurers and intermediaries on executing and setting strategy and led the M&A team. For 4 years I also led the insurance legacy restructuring practise.

Partner in the consulting team focussing on international and domestic clients. We became known as market leaders in setting strategy in the London Market and in particular for advising on "births, deaths and marriages". I sat on the Insurance Executive committee which ran the business. Ultimately our success was such that we sold the insurance practise to Deloitte.

Initially operated as an auditor in the insurance sector where I audited numerous Lloyd's syndicates and agencies as well as insurers and brokers. I also spent a 4 year spell as a Government appointed member of the IBRC the former UK broking regulator and 3 years as a Government Inspector appointed to investigate the affairs of London United Investments and its Weavers subsidiary. In addition I was seconded for 9 months to the Lloyd's Reconstruction and Renewal project.
