I am a board-level Healthcare executive consultant with 35 years of experience in the health and social care sector. Currently CEO for Creative Care (East Midlands) Ltd, a high-quality residential care and support service for young adults with Autism/ Autistic Spectrum Disorder and additional severe and complex needs. I have restructured and turned this business around in both quality outcomes including Good/Outstanding CQC ratings and delivered growth and financial performance. Creative Care has partnered with PBS-UK to deliver a unique outcomes-based positive behavioural support model of care which has reduced incidents and delivered greater independence and positive well-being for the people we support. Previously, CEO of Sequence Care Group, a Learning Disabilities Community hospital and residential and supported living provider in London and the Southeast. Responsible for the leadership, direction and growth of the business and development of the senior management team. Provided strategic planning and delivery of the business plan, to maximise value for shareholders. Responsible for the development of the estate and integration of acquisitions and overall growth delivery through sales and marketing. Implemented and delivered a quality improvement strategy during 2015/6 to achieve CQC regulatory standards. During my tenure, increasing the size of the business by 150% through organic growth and acquisition in January 2017 combined with a refinancing of the business. Also implemented the supported living service to the company to create a complete pathway of care. Experienced in Healthcare management for both NHS Medical and Surgical specialities and in the independent sector for the last 13 years in Mental Health and social care including General Psychiatry, Eating Disorders, Addictions, CAMHS, Secure Mental Health, Complex Care, Learning Disabilities, Behavioural healthcare, Day Therapy and Primary Care Psychological Therapy. Previously worked clinically in Ophthalmology as an Orthoptist and care centre manager for 19 years including senior operational leadership positions in ENT, Oral Surgery and Trauma & Orthopaedics within the NHS.
