Ian Cordes is president of Corecare Associates, Inc. He is an award-winning journalist and newsletter publisher. He has been recognized with numerous awards for news and feature writing and was the recipient of the American College of Health Care Administrators Journalism Award as well as numerous APEX awards for publication excellence. Corecare provides association management services to non-profits for such statewide health care organizations as the Florida Association Directors of Nursing Administration, FMDA – The Florida Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, and the Florida Long-Term Care Care Social Workers Association. He is a Member, Board of Directors, Area Agency on Aging for Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast and Member-At-Large, Board of Directors, Council of Florida Medical Society ExecutivesIn addition, Ian is a member, Editorial Advisory Board of AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine’s Caring for the Ages, 2012 to present. The readership for AMDA’s Caring for the Ages news magazine includes medical directors, attending physicians, advanced practice nurses, nursing home administrators, directors of nursing, consultant pharmacists, and other long-term care (LTC) practitioners.
