I’ve been interested in art, computers and design since my early teens, when I began building computers, teaching myself how to use programs like Photoshop and Flash, and learning basic html. I earned my BFA with a concentration in design from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts in 2013. During my senior year I had an internship in Beverly with a company working on bullying awareness and drunk driving awareness programs, designing posters, flyers, social media ads and maintaining a daily blog. Shortly after graduating I began work as a junior designer for a small agency called Up All Day Creative Solutions at their New Hampshire office. I worked on a huge variety of both print and web projects for clients in many different industries. I worked on a contractual basis for eight months before the company decided to hire me as a graphic designer. During my nearly six years with Up All Day, I learned to juggle multiple priority tasks at once with extremely fast turnaround times. I worked in a senior design role directly with my creative director on many large projects including website redesigns, branding projects and RFPs. I was often responsible for working directly with clients to achieve certain goals and deadlines, even being sought after as certain clients’ “go-to” guy. I gained experience with large format design for things like trade show collateral, banners, billboards and other signage.I have a proven track record of maintaining open channels of communication, constantly improving the quality of my work and meeting very tight deadlines while working either in an office environment or remotely. I’m quick to learn new programs and technologies and can quickly adapt to changes and problems as they arise.
