• Developed the alpha version of the fitness app “Presence.” ° Gained experience setting up and structuring a large project from scratch and doing front-end development entirely in Swift (i.e. without Interface Builder). Became very comfortable with UIKit, view hierarchies, and AutoLayout. ° Integrated the Twilio Video SDK to incorporate live video conferencing. ° Wrote client-side code, which interfaces with a GraphQL server. Through this and working with Twilio Video, learned to respond to asynchronous events gracefully, and to decode JSON responses into custom classes. ° Worked with AVKit to stream video from a CloudFront URL and synchronize its playback with a frequently polled server state.• Developed the beta version of “Presence” with a team. ° Became comfortable with MVC, MVVM, and Delegation design patterns. ° Worked extensively with tools like JIRA, Git, and Figma. ° Implemented In-App Purchases (IAP) with StoreKit. ° Debugging memory leaks with Instruments and Xcode’s Memory Graph.

• Developed and illustrated the app Seta Stickers for iMessage (iOS 10 and higher). ° Became comfortable with Swift, several Apple API’s, and Xcode’s storyboard. ° Ran through the process of joining the Apple Developer Program, code signing, and preparing/ publishing a build of my app. ° Gained experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Photoshop and Animate CC when preparing the stickers).• Developed Santa’s Cap as a personal project. ° Significant practice with Swift, control flow, and Apple’s Messages Framework. ° Beta-tested several versions through TestFlight before publishing the app. ° Worked on creating an aesthetically pleasing UI and illustrating graphics for the app. ° Practiced prepping the product for display on the App Store.
