Technically demanding role, all hands on. My areas of expertise are:Networks - Ethernet network installation & support (switches, cabling, monitoring), plus fibre networking. DNS, VPNs.Project management - Oversight of all technical projects working closely with external companies. This included weekly reviews of work being undertaken, and daily contact when completing the tasks needed.Software - Windows Server (NT 4 - Server 2016), Windows (all versions from 3.1). Office 365, MS Exchange, MS AD, VMware, Veeam, Backup Exec for tape backups. Cisco Meraki Cloud Wifi, Windows desktop builds. SAP ECC6 BASIS support with Oracle DB Administrator duties. OCR systems. Panasonic telephone switch management software.Hardware - Responsible for server kit replacement/builds, PC/laptop builds plus all other IT hardware support including printers, photocopiers, scanners etc. Android and Iphone support as well as Android “sign on glass” delivery handhelds for our fleet.Development - Excel VBA/macros for a number of widely use spreadsheets used to drive production, Finance and HR. Visual Basic development for ad hoc utilities for systems across site.Helpdesk - I’ve used a number of systems to track and improve customer response including Spiceworks & Remedy, using ITIL guidelines
