Responsibilities include:• Execute product testing on a wide range of general insurance applications to prove accuracy and quality.• Product testing using test scripts in accordance with the test plans and release documentation.• Liaise with development teams to promote swift resolution of faults.• Continually monitor testing progress against release dates/plans.• Ensure developments and applications accurately meet specified requirements. • Accurate recording and monitoring of faults using TRAC error tracking software.• Ensure that testing environments are maintained in a manner that promotes its most efficient and effective usage.• Assist with project pilot and UAT support.• Promotion and management of releases to the UAT environment, ensuring customers are informed of any delays or developments that may impact the delivery schedule or User Acceptance Testing.• Monitor and manage UAT feedback, recording errors if necessary and notifying any parties of errors or potential issues.• Be the key contact for customers requiring support during UAT.• Actively make suggestions for change whilst completing test cycles of customer’s websites that may be used as a future change request to help improve site functionality and the user experience.

Responsibilities include:• Co-ordinate, test and monitor web and CRS based projects, reporting on their performance after implementation.• Projects successfully tested, implemented and promoted into a live environment include: o Project NEO (Update and replacement of previous Travelodge website) o Full prepayment of all rates o Payment Authentication (Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure) o Chargeable Booking Amendment Fee / Modification Charge o eVouchers o International and Mobile Booking Engines o Non Room Inventory (Breakfast, dinner, early check-in, late check-out added to the online booking journey) o Implementation of 2008 and 2009 rate structure(s) o Various online promotional activity (Sales) resulting in a significant increase in web traffic o Refund Cover / Room Cancellation Insurance o Credit Card Booking Fee• Develop, review, and carry out test scripts for User Acceptance and Functional Testing.• Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Testers to ensure developments meet specific business requirements.• Co-ordinate testing, test plans, User Acceptance, Functional and Regression testing, ensuring all results are documented and actioned upon when necessary.• Manage reported defects/bugs via a Project/Development Tracker ensuring priorities are given accordingly and resolutions are found.• Provide data for internal and external customers for use in reporting and performance analysis

• Manage training, documentation and education of all call ‘out-sourcing’ companies. Ensure the respective companies are efficient and operational with various applications and booking channels (e.g. Website, WinAI (CRS), NetRez, TMAAS).• Aid the Reservations Development Manager with all projects and testing related to the website, Speech Recognition Application and call out-sourcing• Manage and document all end to end testing of developments, including website enhancements, RAVE (promotional search tool) and Fluency (Speech Recognition

• Manage day-to-day running of the Internet Reservation Sales Team (Approximately 30 sales consultants)• Work closely with the team, collating any feedback or issues gathered from customers using the website and present to the Reservations Development Manager• Provide support to Reservations Sales Team Managers should queries arise originating from the web channel

• Provide a service to enable revenue to be optimised through rate management processes and procedures, utilising tools such as Minimum Length of Stay controls, Overbooking Levels, Cross selling hotels and event pricing• Analyse data information to enable recommendations to be made to the business to optimise revenue performance• Use of IDeaS Yield Management application to help make recommendations and forecast demand• Analyse revenue and occupancy levels, understanding issues driving demand• Compile forecast on a weekly basis, making recommendations to optimise revenue and occupancy

• Manage a team of approximately 14 Reservation Sales Consultants• Document consultant performance, providing coaching and feedback regularly• Coach, mentor and develop each consultant within the team• Provide support for all consultants when queries arise within the Central Reservation System (WinAI, NetRez) or advanced features are needed not commonly used by or issued to consultants
