• Responsible for the overall operations of the business with respect to Retail, Distribution, and E-Commerce platforms in conjunction with the company objectives.• Plan, strategize and execute business development, brand awareness, business exposure and expansion, simultaneous with financial and non/financial operations.• Supervise team operations inclusive of Business Development & Expansion, Finance & Accounts, Procurement & Logistics, HR & Administration, Social Media & Design, and Marketing.

• Supervise, manage and control the company’s cash budget and daily operations.• Provide assistance to the Director and/or General Manager (Finance & Operations) on decision-making involving daily cash, budget and payment operations.• Liaise with banks, third party and internal customers to resolve monetary issues or concerns.

- Preparation of daily cash flow movements and projections for the Director using the direct receipts and disbursements concept. - Supervision of management related queries & investigations, in-charge for the financial operations of the company’s cold store lease and Dubai Metro retail outlet venture, and point person towards monitoring of project costs and payments.- Overall in-charge of the company’s Letters of Credit (L/C) and banking operations.- Coordination with external auditors during the annual examinations, and liaise with various internal and external clients as required.

• Execute approved audit programs and conduct approved investigations when needed through:- Understanding and documenting of the existing systems and processes of the different divisions and business units.- Reviewing the design and operational effectiveness of the systems of internal controls of the different business processes.- Professional and timely interaction with various line and General Managers of each respective divisions.• Report and communicate to the Chief Audit Officer issues and concerns by:- Suggesting audit plans and programs for review by the Head of Audit, and effective management to ensure timely execution of audit and investigation activities.- Recommending feasible solutions to improve internal control and business processes to ensure that the company’s resources are economically and effectively utilized and safeguarded.- Effectively communicating the findings to management under the reporting framework of internal audit.

• As Section Head – Junior Asst. Audit Manager (Retail Banking Operations Audit) - Review Audit Report drafts prepared by Team Leaders prior to finalization/release - Monitor compliance to audit plans and targets, fieldwork assignments, employee attendance etc. - Facilitate monthly departmental meetings and monitoring of other administrative functions• As Field Team Leader / Examiner: - Perform testing and evaluation of branch/Head Office procedures and transactions (financial and non-financial) and ascertains compliance to internal and external policies (AMLA, IFRS, GAAP) - Recommend revisions/amendments of policies and procedures as regards risk and control issues - Responsible for the overall performance of the audit team. Reviews working papers upon completion and prepares the draft of the audit report• As Case Investigator: - Report to the Bank’s Evaluation Committee during deliberations of cases - Conduct investigative review of financial and non-financial transactions involving branch/unit’s compliance with internal controls and guidelines related to fraud, negligence and system related incidents, and recommends administrative sanctions when necessary.• As Bookkeeper/Reconciler: - Perform end-of-day balancing of all Back Office Current and Savings Account transactions for branches to identify float items, unposted or twice posted transactions and effect necessary adjustments in the books. - Call the attention of branches not complying with the requirements necessary during reconciliation
