Payments Team Contributor: Specifically worked on transitioning fraud detection logic from existing microservices to a new billing-oriented microservice. This involved rewriting critical business logic and integration with Stripe, Seon and Maxmind APIs.Independent Project Work: Working on individual projects, such as building an in-app documentation searching tool for the application front end. Technologies used include TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Redis, and Node.js.

• Co-founded Beekeeper - an open source app for rapid deployment of a virtual wait room. Beekeeper is a back end as a service (BaaS) designed to handle bursty traffic from one-off events.• Built a CLI tool using AWS-SDK to rapidly deploy AWS resources such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, API Gateway, S3, SQS, CloudFront and CloudWatch.• Designed a throttling mechanism using AWS Lambdas for accurately setting and tuning the number of users allowed to a client endpoint.• Created a dynamic rate throttling mechanism using a governor design pattern to change Lambda behavior based on endpoint health.• Worked with a globally distributed and fully remote team.• Authored a technical case-study beekeeper-cli.github.io.
