• Provide first line operational and technical support across multiple disciplines, including data, render, resource management and delivery of content to and from MPC.• Part of the leadership team for the Operations department, providing training and giving feedback on performance to junior team members.• Working closely on international projects with teams in LA, New York, and Vancouver• Helping to develop in-house solutions and integrating new technologies into existing workflows• Encoding and transcoding to/from a wide range of formats including DPX, MXF, Quicktime using a variety of tools including Episode, Clipster, Final Cut & Digital Rapids. • MCR experience in a challenging and high pressured environment

• Solely responsible for all rendering operations and data management for the advertising department, including farm management, archives and restores, troubleshooting and technical support.• Helped to develop data archive and restoration procedures which could accommodate several hundred active projects at any one time.• Strategic planning of project workflows to ensure deadlines were met in times of limited resources.• Responsible for supporting the rendering pipeline and optimising the rendering process

• Monitoring and balancing the load on the render farm to make sure it is used efficiently and that renders receive the required resources• First point of contact for rendering support to all departments• Detecting and troubleshooting failed jobs and/or hardware
