The program is designed to help first semester students adjust to the university environment. This is achieved by matching them with a second or third year student within their same faculty. The program is very effective and an extremely rewarding experience for the students involved. My role within this is to assist in coordinating induction workshops for new mentors, room bookings, match first semester students with their mentors, and the daily upkeep of the program. - Assist in the coordination of the ECU Buddy Program. This program is specially designed for new international students. Similar to the Mentoring Program, these new students are matched with second and third year students to guide them through their first semester at ECU. My tasks in running this program are the approval of students to mentor the new students, maintenance of the BuddyHub website, and upkeep on any queries from students about the program.
