During this period my key focus areas were:Finance - under my leadership BT Air Logistics consistently delivered excellent numbers with a very strong EBIT of over 1m GBP per annum.Product Development - working with industry groups and HMRC we designed and delivered an electronic fallback service keeps imports moving even when the HMRC system is unavailable. Prior to that I secured over 3m GBP of funding to design, develop and build a new service to address a new requirement within EU legislation.Programme Strategy - maintaining and regularly updating a strategy paper for presentation to senior managers, designed to strengthen and secure the long term future of ALP.Sales and Marketing - planned and delivered day long seminars which attracted UK based attendees as well as attendees from Canada and Japan. I have also run exhibition booths and attended various industry shows to support BT Air Logistics activities.Customer Focus - key to the success of the programme has been the relationship with the air freight industry groups. By building mutual trust, both the air freight community and the programme have benefited. Personnel - managing the team which numbers 50 people spread between direct employees, contractors, UK and overseas outsource partners.
