To enable the smooth running of the Distribution Centre I had a management team that consisted of a Transport Manager and two Warehouse Supervisors.The site was a 120,000 sq ft Distribution Centre operating a three shift warehouse operation and a two shift delivery operation that delivered London and the South East as well as an overnight trunking / delivery operation. The operation employed 125 distribution staff all of whom reported to my team. I began my career with United Biscuits Distribution Services (UBDS) as a Warehouse Supervisor and progressed through the ranks to become Distribution Centre Manager. During my time with UBDS I was also seconded to two other locations one in Manchester and one in Glasgow as part of my career
