Worked on standardizing web development within the organization through the adoption of Angular 2 (now Angular 4) to provide a predictable and repeatable architecture.

My initial responsibilities included acting as team lead in certain projects, though this became less and less a responsibility as I became responsible for managing more project and clients. I was responsible for seeking and reading request for proposal (RFP) documents and developing a proposal and cost estimate to win the work. I was responsible for presenting to clients in support of proposals, as necessary, and I was responsible for managing clients once we had been awarded work. During this time, the majority of my clients were located outside my state and I was responsible for traveling to the clients' offices regularly.I expanded my project management skills during the time, utilizing Microsoft Project and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to monitor project status. Responsible for the successful implementation of custom software products to meet a variety of clients' needs. After spending 7 years in a single client's office, I was now working in my company's offices for multiple clients simultaneously. This transition also introduced me to a larger support team with business analysts to develop requirements specifications, project managers responsible for the overall project and dedicated test staff responsible for ensuring the product was built to specification. I was primarily responsible for writing software to meet a requirement specification. During this time, I grew my JavaScript skills significantly and started working with GIS data. The bulk of projects were written in C# and ASP.Net against a SQL Server backend. Increasingly, the front-end was built entirely in JavaScript. During this time I also worked heavily with the Silverlight platform which introduced me to the MVVM architecture and two-way binding of controls. I was frequently the team lead on projects during this time.

Working on site in client's office, I continued to grow my software development skills. I began tackling larger-scale projects where I was coordinating with development staff across multiple functional areas within the clients' organization to integrate systems. During this time I also managed projects completed by off-site consultants for my client.Work was primarily carried out via C#, ASP.NET and SQL. During this time, I expanded on using the emerging AJAX standards, moving away from the typical XMLHttpRequest. I was also working with Anthem.NET and provided minor bug fixes and testing support as I adopted this framework at the time.

Typical applications were delivered utilizing Classic ASP initially, quickly transitioned to delivering ASP.Net applications. Working directly in the client's office and so closely with client provided me the base client relationship skills that have helped me throughout my career.
