During my time at Eastek I developed tools to aid the daily workflow for the engineers and administrative staff. I wrote a VBA macro to with enable the engineers to quickly prepared work instruction using a controlled document format. Another VBA macro I developed enabled payroll data to be quickly summarized and graphically displayed for a variety of different parameters (team, position, sector). I also was involved in process of bringing a gel manufacturing process in-house. I aided in the translation of the SOP, identified safety concerns, and developed safety guidelines for the technicians.
