I am responsible for the Energy & Industrial Portfolio of AFL Communications in Australia, this includes, Transmission & Distribution, Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure (Road, Rail, Ports, Tunnels) & Renewables

Responsible for the daily operations for Slingco within the Asia Pacific Region. Establish operational directive’s as well as strategic objectives for the region. Build, implement & deliver a growth strategy for the Asia Pacific region.

The Prysmian Group, global player, and local manufacturer of safe and reliable cables within power and telecommunication.Reporting to the Asia Pacific Sales Director for Telecom, I was responsible for the commercial P&L for the Telecom business within New Zealand. Management of the national telecom network account of Chorus (approx. $14million) and all other telecom accounts within each geographical regions of the country.To attend senior management meetings in Australia to discuss the strategic growth of the telecom’s business within NZ.

Responsible for the operational functions within SLUK Business (UK & EMEA), 4 direct reports - 1 x Technical Product Manager, 2 x Sales Managers, 1 x Marketing Manager, 1 x Customer Services Manager.Key focus to develop growth strategy across the UK & EMEA region. Build a strong management SLUK team to assist in this development through performance coaching & KPI management. Manage stock profiles and advisor on product rationalization. Develop a strong Route to Market through key distributors across key target countries.

Responsible for the development and growth of TFK MV cables within specific Oil & Gas and Mining orientated countries within Africa, to build a strong distributor/agency network and create awareness of its products through exhibitions and trade associations.• Introduced TFK - MV Business to over 60 EPC and End Users in 9 specified countries • Created over 40 major enquiries for MV business valuing €17.5M• Located 3 Distributor/Agencies to represent TFK in Nigeria, Ghana & Tanzania.

One Year ContractI was responsible for the strategic development of specific cable ranges throughout Europe & Africa. To engage RPG with CEO’s, General Managers and senior executives of major OEM’s & EPC’s such as SAIPEM, TECHNIP, SIEMENS, ABB, WORLEY PARSONS, SNC LAVALIN, AMEC, FLSMIDTH, TECNICAS REUNIDAS, ABENGOA and global distributors such as ANIXTER and REXEL IPG to build awareness, promoting RPG cables and service capabilities.
