Public health and environmental forum developing innovative projects to explore an important new field. Also hosted public conferences cover a range of health/environmental themes including a major series exploring the future impacts of climate change.

Chair of a joint forum of the East Midlands Regional and West Midlands Regional Party Council which had operated for many years previously as the Midlands Advisory Council. The forum organised conferences to address contemporary issues - such as social care etc. It was disbanded by persons unknown and without any reference to the chair but had been a useful forum.

Active committee member and Vice-Chair for 2 years from inception through to the new constitution and the start of the disastrous Marks era.

Formally Senior Lecturer in Manufacturing Systems Engineering - but my teaching moved from Manufacturing Systems to Product Design over the years.Research interests around sustainable manufacturing systems/sustainable design/human-centred systems

Joined the management committee in 1994 and became secretary following the tragic loss of Dr Colin Randall. CAITS was wound up at the completion of the SUNREG EU Project - an initiative of Colin Randall to create a thematic action research network to explore the economic impacts of new technologies across Europe - in 'sunrise' and 'sunset' regions
