During my tenure at Milan Records, I led the acquisition, production and worldwide distribution of numerous commercially and critically successful soundtracks including Mulholland Drive, Pan's Labyrinth, The Queen, and City Of God. Soundtracks I produced have sold more than one million units worldwide and included Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe-nominated scores. MY ROLEAs a senior executive, I was responsible for corporate acquisitions strategy, contract negotiation, and soundtrack album production. This included project tracking & evaluation, establishing relationships with composers, independent producers, and studio-level executives. I addition to soundtrack album production I represented the company and acquired music rights at numerous film festivals and film-sales markets in the US, Europe, and Asia over a 15-year period.As an Executive Soundtrack Producer, I have worked with such outstanding US filmmakers including David Lynch, Clint Eastwood, Woody Allen, Robert Rodriguez, David O Russell and Spike Lee, as well as acclaimed international directors Fernando Meirelles (Brazil) Gavin Hood (South Africa), Guillermo Del Toro (Mexico), Pedro Almodovar (Spain), Danny Boyle and Stephen Frears (United Kingdom). Noted composers I have worked include Academy Award nominees: Javier Navarette, (Pan’s Labyrinth), Alberto Iglesias (Volver), Alexandre Desplat (The Queen), Mychael Danna (Capote) and Clint Eastwood.
