Ian has had a passion for business process improvement for many years joining BCDS in 2000 who were pioneers of machine-readable data capture (Auto-ID) with an industry experience back to 1982. He immediately recognised the potential business benefits, process efficiencies and cost savings that the then-emerging Radio Frequency ID (RFID) technology could deliver to its users.Over time, Ian’s passion and love for developing business solutions around RFID and AutoID capture software have driven him from being an employee to the Owner of BCDS in 2008.
