I have spent 40 years in the Sportsturf industry, working as a greenkeeper, head groundsman, Sportsturf lecturer,/Head of Horticulture and as the Head of Professional Services at the IOG (Now GMA)I have also worked as a Sportsturf Consultant and Trainer and Assessor/ Internal Verifier.My main goal is to see the golf and grounds industry continue to move forward and be recognised as a highly skilled profession..I would also like to help and support a career for young people.Specialties: I have good people skills, able to work within and as part of a team or individually, have good communication and negotiation skills, have a passion for my work and enjoy challenges.
