I was tasked with overseeing the RSAF's transport requirements as a Key Appointment Holder in the planning committee for Exercise Wallaby 2017 - the SAF's largest unilateral overseas exercise. As the MTO, I had the responsibility of ensuring the necessary transport support was received in order to assist in the success of the exercise. This provided me the opportunity and privilege to interact with and work closely with people from the various units, learning more about their stories in the process.
