Responsible for the maintenance & smooth running of Metso 60/89 gyratory crusher and associated feeders,conveyors & hydraulic systems. Previously worked in the coal mining industry for 27 years as a fixed plant fitter/welder. Responsibilities included maintenance and repair of all coal crushing and screening machinery,fabrication and welding on site. All ordering of spares & stock rotation. Working with management on plant availability & minimizing breakdowns.Heavily involved in health and safety & risk assessment.April 2013 - January 2023.Currently employed at UPM Caledonian paper. Responsibilities include maintenance of all machinery involved in the process of making paper.
