Specifically analyzed how the crisis started, the former and current EU laws and policies, and Non-Governmental Organization's operating in the Mediterranean aiming to alleviate the suffering.

Instead of focusing on the battles and the war itself, this class instead focuses on the various political, artistic and social movements that not only led to the First World War but the violence that would take place later in the 20th century.

For four months I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Political Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh. I gathered data on voting behavior and voter turnout rates in various South American countries that had experienced various levels of political corruption or scandals. This data was then compared to our hypothesis that countries with high levels of corruption/scandals would show larger voter turnout rates and thus would lead to fewer incumbencies. A major aspect of the research conducted was that the majority of the resources I used were written in Spanish allowing me to utilize the 5 years I took of it in High School.
