This data was then compared to our hypothesis that countries with high levels of corruption/scandals would show larger voter turnout rates and thus would lead to fewer incumbencies. A major aspect of the research conducted was that the majority of the resources I used were written in Spanish allowing me to utilize the 5 years I took of it in High School.
