I am a highly experienced Senior Technology and Communications Executive, with morethan twenty five years’ expertise working in executive leadership and entrepreneurialroles: helping make commercial ambitions a reality. As you might expect, I have strongpeople and financial management capabilities, as well as proven corporate governanceand programme delivery skills: working consistently to build platforms for sustainable andprofitable growth.In recognition of that experience, I have been appointed to a number of executive boardand public roles: Senior Director (Business Development) at Virsae from 2017 to date;Senior Director (Business Development: CX and Collaboration) with Dimension Data from2013 to 2017, and, for three years, Governor and eventually Chair of Governors of a localMaintained Primary School.In terms of Business Development skills, with Virsae I played an integral part insignificantly expanding revenues and profitability across UK and European markets, aswell as identifying and acquiring new business partners: developing a cutting edgeprogramme to embed VSM into their Managed Services DNA. I also increased monthlyrevenues by 80% in my first full year with the company, and identified and onboarded twonew business partners within eighteen months of joining.I led EU Business operations as Managing Director of Dimension Data: with responsibilityfor annual revenue generation of £15 Million, line management of Managed andProfessional services and a full spectrum of business development activities; and as Headof Service Delivery from 2011 to 2013, I headed up and motivated a team of fifty SupportAnalysts and four Service Delivery Managers: ensuring best quality service delivery to the highest professional standards.As for Service Innovation, I provided key support for development and delivery of a seriesof innovative initiatives and Cloud adoption systems as Senior Director at Dimension Data:working closely with Vendor Partners and Alliance Members to ensure effective customeracquisition, sustainable growth and client retention.
