As a lifelong "accountant", one of the most enjoyable aspects of my career is breaking away from the pre-conceived notions about who "accountants" are using my experience to help my clients improve their businesses every day. I'm most definitely a people-person and I take a lot of pride in the lifelong relationships I have built with so many of my clients who see me not only as an auditor, but as a knowledgeable financial partner and, hopefully, a friend. Throughout my career I had been assisting public companies in their SEC regulatory filings, I have helped my clients navigate through many business combinations, public and private stock offerings, and a host other unique reporting situations. I always hope that when a project is complete, I have taught my clients something during the process and maintained a relationship that improves every year. While most of my expertise is within the financial sector (including banks, credit unions, hedge funds, investment companies and broker-dealers) I also have clients and experience in the manufacturing, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plan industries.I received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Otterbein University. I am a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. I also actively participate as a member of the PICPA’s Financial Institutions Committee.
