Whilst this is of course worthwhile it is not the most effective use of the accountants time and skills and they could give more value to the charity if they gave them accountancy advice.Charities are fantastic at delivering their core mission, but don't necessarily have the business skills in house that they could really benefit from such as marketing, HR, finance, sales ,logistics, legal, IT, event management, business planning etc. etcThis is where Smart Aid connects them with the right professionals in a very structured and managed format so both the charity and the professional get tremendous benefit.

Providing contributions to the management and delivery of the suite of awards offered by Trinity Business and with specific responsibilities relating to the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and the MBA.

Supporting the Business School on a range of projects primarily related to work based learning initiatives, apprenticeships and enterprise activities in schools.

The partnership has recently been named, by the funding council as the designated Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for 11-18 schools in West Yorkshire, enabling the schools simple access to the range of outreach activities for students from a widening participation background and contributing to the National Network for Collaborative Outreach (NNCO). Similarly HEART represents the partners on the Leeds City Region Skills Network through which support for the Local Enterprise Partnership is provided.

Led numerous new awards to validation and managed the subsequent delivery in locations across Wales. Refreshed institutional policies and procedures with regard to accreditation of prior experiential learning. Developed significant contracts for commercial training delivery.
