Project scopes range from interior renovations, new construction of generator and chiller buildings to complex renovations in active data centers.

Project Director - Mission CriticalSkanska Usa Building Inc. Feb 2010 - Jun 2012Stockholm, SeTwo new data center buildings for a confidential client. One in Stratford Ontario and another in Guelph Ontario.1) New Tier III 341,345-SF data center with 94,991-SF of white space is located on a greenfield site and is registered with the CaGBC to meet the certification goal of LEED Gold. The first of a multi-phase expansion, the facility’s critical power load totals 6.075 MW. Upon completion of the final phase build-out the critical power will increase to 9.72 MW. The A-side of the system is a conventional N+1 configuration, while the B-side and mechanical systems are backed up with a 6 MW medium voltage UPS in N+1 configuration. The generator system is N+1. The electrical systems are both concurrently maintainable and fault tolerant. The project has fully integrated SCADA, EPMS, BMS and FMS systems.2) 226,700-SF project incorporated a two-story addition to an existing facility. The new Phase 1 Tier III data center includes 2.43 MW of critical power with 14,994-SF of white space. The independent A-side configuration incorporates a conventional N+1 system, while side B and the mechanical systems are backed up with a 4 MW medium voltage UPS and generator system in an N+1 configuration. The electrical system is concurrently maintainable and fault tolerant. The project has fully integrated SCADA, EPMS, BMS and FMS systems. The project scope included reconfiguring an existing storm water retention pond, additional asphalt parking and a new internal asphalt roadway to connect the existing and new parking lots.
