As a Nuclear Submarine Officer onboard USS HAWAII, I led highly skilled teams to upgrade the submarine’s nuclear instrumentation and control systems, nuclear propulsion plant, combat systems, and communications equipment. As a Junior Officer, I focused on continuous improvement and self assessment throughout the engineering department, implementing root cause analysis to improve efficiency and guarantee issue resolution.I am currently an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Mentor and Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) officer at Tactical Training Group Pacific in San Diego, CA. At TACTRAGRUPAC we are responsible for training Carrier Strike Group staffs through classroom courses and simulated real world synthetic training.
