Reporting directly to the Global Head of Custody & Agency Services, Middle Office (GCASMO).Responsible for the EMEA Team :- E2E delivery of all change initiatives - tech. / non tech. /strategic & tactical.- Effective Onboarding & Operational Servicing of GCAS Clients & Products, which includes Global Custody, Fund Custody, Loans, Project Finance, Issuing & Paying Agency, Common Depository & Escrow.- Developing bespoke Client tailored solutions for new & existing clients working closely with the Business, Operations, Technology, Legal, Treasury, Risk & Control and Compliance.- Adherence to internal KPI’s/ KRI’s, Process Control Standards, Credit lines, Reconciliation tolerances etc.- Compliance with Market Regulations i.e. MiFID I/II, Reg W, CASS, Client Money, SOX etc - Direct communication with internal / external Auditors and Regulators. Three largest achievements include:i) TOM & SIM - (Role: Prog. Man, PM & BA) - successful development & delivery of the GCAS MO/ GCAS Ops Programme of Change Initiatives under the ongoing bank-wide TOM & SIM Programmes. Reducing the overall GCAS Ops footprint by 42 FTE, roles were successfully migrated from Carrick & London to Dublin & India. ii) FTS initiative - (Role: BA, PM, Global UAT Coordinator) - led, devised & successfully implemented a ‘Follow the Sun’ global support model for a new U.S. Broker Dealer Client consisting of multiple Operational support teams throughout the Bank. Worked directly with Technology and Clients to resolve issues with portal feeds / funding / FX / short selling / reconciliations / delayed reporting etc to enhance and improve the Client experience. iii)Successful delivery of a New Vault in Dublin, on budget to 9mnth plan - responsible for the Project E2E, developing functional & build specifications, budget, planning, training of new Vault Managers, secure transportation of physical securities with face value > $200Bn, management of multiple stakeholders internal & external.

Responsible for a team of 10FTE who supported the Equity & Debt Capital Market Sales Teams. Large Syndicated Primary Market Distributions / Secondary Placements, Responsible for structuring the Settlement, Payment, Operational Mechanics of the deal. Liaising with Sales, Counterparties, Legal, Tax, Operational Settlement & Payment Teams, often hands on releasing large Closing Payments to ensure 100% settlement. A zero tolerance environment where a delayed closing or payment could directly impact the ratings table and chance of winning the next.

Responsible for Corporate Trust & Agency Services, which included a Custody & Collateral Team and a large Vault - comprising of 192 FTE in total, 180 (Bangalore), 12 (London).Head hunted from Clearstream I worked closely with the Business, Product, Sales, Tax, Legal, Risk & Compliance to provide Operational solutions and develop / strengthen the Operational Team to support. In 2003 Deutsche Bank were the first to outsource the entire Operations Team to Bangalore, India. I was a key part of the initiative's success, both planning and execution. I was on the ground in India Day 1 and was retained by the Bank to train/ develop the Local Management team and stabilise the new Team. I retained ownership of the Business / Audit Relationships and Tax & Reporting responsibilities.Whilst at Deutsche I was also responsible for the delivery of a Portfolio of Projects which included IT Releases, Six Sigma Front to Back Process Reengineering, New Product Development & Market Deployments, Market Consolidation, Client On-boarding, Outsourcing (as mentioned above), Off-shoring, Process Improvements / Change / Regulatory and Tax Compliance. Leaving the line to work solely on initiatives for a period of time after making the finals of the Bank-wide Innovation Competition and presenting my idea to Deutsche Bank's Board of Directors in Hamburg, which included Josef Ackerman, Herman Lamberti, Wolfgang Gaertner.
