Yorkshire & North East

• Reporting to Regional Logistics Manager, managing the Aggregate / Asphalt logistics operation across the Yorkshire and North East area.• Managing and developing a fleet of tipper trucks and drivers to maximise loads/ vehicle day, whilst replenishing stock in concrete plants outside normal operating hours• Maintaining relationships with sub-contract haulage fleet to ensure that capacity is available as and when the business requires.

Midlands, Derbyshire And Yorkshire

Day to day responsibilities in dealing with all aspects of Logistics management including HR, H&S, Training, Tachograph management, Operators licence (ensuring full legal compliance), staff rota’s, shift patterns, managing holidays & absence cover & onsite bunkered fuel. Stand in Area Logistics Manager cover during long absence periods.
