I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and have specialised in forensic accounting work since 1997. I am an accredited member of The Academy of Experts and an accredited APIL Expert (First Tier).I have given evidence in Court on a number of occasions and have particular experience of complex claims for loss of earnings and pension loss in personal injury, clinical negligence and fatal accidents cases. I am regularly instructed as an expert and advisor on issues of quantum on behalf of Claimants and Defendants and as a Single Joint Expert. I have significant experience in the valuation of businesses across a wide range of industry and professional sectors in shareholder and partnership disputes, S994 unfair prejudice claims and commercial agency terminations.I was recently seconded to a world leading insurance broker where I assisted policy holder clients claiming business interruption losses arising as a result of COVID-19. I also advise water utility companies and insurers on the financial aspects of claims for business interruption losses and consequential loss. I am regularly instructed in matrimonial disputes to undertake work as a Single Joint Expert, or acting for either the Applicant or Respondent in the dispute, and have a significant amount of experience of preparing business valuation reports. I have attended Resolution’s Familiarisation for Joint Experts working within the Collaborative process.
