Led a platoon of 35 soldiers in Forward Operating Base (FOB) security missions, convoy security operations, counter indirect fire patrols, dismounted perimeter patrols, FOB Quick Reaction Force (QRF), recovery missions, and explosive ordinance disposal missions. Managed all aspects of training, readiness, deployment, mission planning and execution. Accountable for eight armored vehicles, 50 weapons systems, and tactical equipment worth in excess of $10 million. Planned, prepared and executed community outreach visits, key leader engagements, and negotiations with the local populace and security forces.

Attended a six month combat and security focused course that emphasized leadership and advanced tactics.
