Senior Engineering Manager within a REME and RE Workshop. Managing circa 60 tradespeople maintaining ground effect vehicles, plant equipment and general support equipment. My primary role as the workshop sergeant major had several responsibilities; career management, appraisal writing, administration, discipline, service complaints, health and well being.

As a second role I were an Army Physical Training Instructor and Health Advisor. Responsible to REME LAD, Wksp and Regimental Physical Training within the UK and on Operations to ensure maximum deployability for all service personnel. This included injury prevention, cold and heat illness, and condition based maintenance, and planning physical activities.

An Engineering Manager within a Protected Mobility Light Infantry Battalion circa 200+ vehicles. The role involves an array of employment from, commanding multiple fitter sections with technical engineering decisions, career management, apprenticeship development, distribution of technical advice and training and equipment support liaison, equipment.

Afghanistan

Senior Lead Engineer manager within KABUL HQ responsible for the Equipment Support to the KABUL Protection Unit. Running 3 fitter sections across multiple areas of Afghanistan responsible for all Vehicle Recovery, Weapon systems and Vehicle Maintenance.

As the lead shop floor engineer, I was responsible for mentoring junior mechanics, out inspecting vehicle maintenance and repair. For 2years i was the lead for all Vehicle inspections to VOSA standards and compliance within Army policy, circa 250+ vehicles. I mentored the junior tradespeople and developed them to progress through their NVQ apprenticeships.

Kenya

Class 1 vehicle mechanic responsible for a small team maintaining wheeled vehicles and Plant equipment for the Royal Engineers. This includes expedient repair, cross servicing, preventive maintenance, dealing with equipment project teams and liaised with contractors for spares.

Falkland Islands

Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic Corporal responsible for all vehicle maintenance to Tri-Service personnel, circa 160+ vehicles across the Island.

Vehicle Mechanic who was responsible for carrying out servicing maintenance across a plethora of Army and RAF equipment; Wheeled and Armoured vehicles at 2 separate units and 3 locations, Woolwich (16 Regt Royal Artillery, 3UK Div Signals and on Operations in Iraq.
