Sales of Controls & Digitalization solutions for Power Plants in West & south India.

Managing & directing the Sales & execution team of 20 members to achieve the business targets, Collaborate with headquarters to deploy latest Service execution models, propagate & implement the regionalization concept, manage the P & L of the group, monitor and control the execution of product & project service orders, participation in international service meets & implementation of the best practices in the Indian region.

Responsible for the Sales of Automation & Electrical solutions in the Oil & Gas industry – upstream & downstream, Promoting tested bundled solutions for E –house, Power Generation & Compressor modules for Onshore & Offshore applications, coordinating with HQ at Singapore / Norway to develop a fabrication yard in India to build the bundled solutions.

Identify Potential market for Siemens offerings in the Western region, regular customer interactions to work on long time pipeline. Tracking of opportunities and handing over to Sales.

Bid / Proposal Team - Studying Customer specs specifications and bid preparation involving preparation of relevant text descriptions, configuration drawings, cost estimation, establishing scope of supply with consortium partners, Seeking necessary clarifications/deviations with customers , meeting & negotiating with international customers for order acquisition, handing over contracts to execution group.Execution/ Engineering team - Study customer’s process requirements, preparation of engineering documents like measuring point lists, system descriptions, logic diagrams for various areas of the power plant, developing the HRSG protection logics and related documents, co-ordination with customer and subsequent Factory Tests at the Siemens AG Works.with customer/consultant, schedule & resource planning, hardware/software design & procurement, co-ordination for bought outs, logic implementation and factory tests ,maintain project quality control, conduct classroom and hands on training for customers at Siemens offices and at power plants. Commissioning, Performance/Acceptance tests and system handover to customer viz. I/O signal simulation, loop checks, commissioning of open loop and closed loop controls, burner management system, process study and tuning of controllers, boiler Master and Unit Coordinated Control, Trial run and Performance Guarantee tests.

Erection activities in coordination with Siemens AG, BHEL and sub contractors. Activities involved study of P & ID, hook up drawings, planning and survey of mounting of transmitters, planning & laying of cable trays and cables, Pre commissioning of the DCS at Tata Power, Trombay & MSEB, Uran.Record and attend to C & I defects in the Power Plant as part of the instrumentation maintenance team.
